A love story written at Wayside Point

DREW SWEET AND HIS PARTNER, EMILY CAPE, BOTH AGREE IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT WHEN THEY VISITED WAYSIDE POINT AT ELLINGTON.  THEY FELL IN LOVE WITH THE DEVELOPMENT AND THE LOOK OF THE HOUSING AS SOON AS THEY SAW THE PLANS FOR THE SITE AND VIEWED THE SHOW HOMES.

"We chose the three-bedroom detached style, The Dune," says Drew.  "We just needed more space and being able to find a home of this quality, with this specification and price, just a short distance away from where we were living, was absolutely perfect for us.

"We love the spaciousness of the house - the layout is great:  the rooms are very well-proportioned and the kitchen/diner is enormous.  We couldn't be happier.

"We did a part exchange to buy at Wayside Point and Ascent Homes were really helpful, allowing us to keep the key for a week after we moved in so that we didn't feel too pressured with a young family. I couldn't fault the help and support we had from them both while we were completing the transaction and on moving in.

"Wayside Point is a great place to live".

Drew and Emily moved in at the end of January and were some of the first residents at Wayside Point. The development is proving so popular however, that only seven houses remain from the initial release of 27. Overall, 99 properties are planned for the first phase.

Claire Scott, Head of Sales and Marketing, reports that feedback from other residents and visitors to Wayside Point is equally positive - large living spaces, beautifully appointed kitchens and bathrooms, thoughtful designs for modern family living including bi-fold doors to extend your living space into the outdoors and a big choice of styles with 11 house types to choose from  - are just some of the comments regularly heard.  She says:

"There's a house to suit every buyer's needs at Wayside Point. Not only do they provide a very good standard of home for the money, but they are also spacious and ideal for growing families.

"Many of our purchasers are first-time buyers and, in this respect, the government's Help to Buy scheme is making a tremendous difference.

"Purchasers only need a 5% deposit using the Help to Buy scheme - whether they are first time buyers or looking to move up the property ladder. Of our 20 homes already sold or reserved 57% of buyers are using this scheme."

The next release of homes is scheduled within the coming months and includes some further exciting new house types.
