Buildmark is the name of our 10 year warranty and insurance cover for newly-built or newly-converted private homes. Whilst we strive to ensure problems don't arise, you can be confident that should anything unexpected occur, Ascent Homes and NHBC have you covered.
Trust with lenders - Many mortgage lenders will only lend on properties that have this type of cover. Buildmark is recognised and trusted by lenders.
Cover for the first two years after completion - Ascent is responsible for putting right certain damage and defects. You also have access to NHBC's resolution service and NHBC Guarantee should you need.
Cover for parts of the home in years three to ten of ownership - NHBC provides insurance to cover the cost of putting right physical damage in specified areas of your home such as damage to floors, staircases, roofs, drains, windows and doors
