Ascent hails phase 2 launch a roaring success

VISITORS NUMBERS TO VIEW THE LATEST PHASE OF LUXURY APARTMENT LIVING IN ALNWICK WHERE HIGH, FOLLOWING A LAUNCH EVENT AT THE MALTINGS ON THE 22ND AND 23RD JULY. 

Releasing The Limes for sale marked the launch of Phase Two of Ascent Homes’ stunning conversion and extension of the former brewery and malt house situated in the heart of Alnwick.  Hailed a great success, the house builder secured six reservations over the two-day period.

In total, 11 properties out of the planned 37 one and two-bedroom apartments and penthouses have now been reserved and the first sales are due to complete in the coming weeks.

Following an extensive period standing empty, The Maltings had deteriorated significantly impacting negatively on its immediate surroundings. Now, thanks to Ascent Homes’ significant investment, coupled with its attention to detail during the restoration and extension, the building has been saved for generations to come and has created a development which elevates the standard of much-needed apartment living in the market town.

Interest in the release of The Limes was such that most viewings were made in advance by appointment, with one couple travelling from the south looking to buy a second home.

Speaking about the number of reservations made to date as well as the high level of interest people have shown in The Maltings, Ascent Homes’ head of sales and marketing, Claire Scott said:
