Ascent Homes is the ho§use building arm of Arch, the Northumberland development company. Ascent Homes brings a fresh and frank mandate to provide quality homes which showcase the very best of local creativity and craftsmanship by utilising local architects, consultants and tradesmen to ensure its investment in housing has a direct benefit to the local economy.
Claire Scott, Ascent Homes sales manager, explains: “I’m delighted to be joining the company at this important time. I’ve been involved in sales management for the past 10 years and have recently worked on The Rise in Scotswood, which proved hugely successful, winning both regional and national awards.
“I’m looking forward to emulating that success with Ascent Homes. Windsor View is a fantastic development in a stunning location, which cannot fail to impress. We have worked hard to develop the highest quality specifications. Our focus is on the customer, both in terms of what they want in a home as well the sales experience received from reservation to completion.
“Despite the adverse weather, construction is well underway. We’re currently finalising the fit-out of the show home with Blagdon-based Q Interiors and we plan to unveil the development from our on-site sales office which will be open for prices and information by the end of February. We can’t wait to start welcoming prospective home owners on site.”
Carol McDowell, Ascent Homes new sales executive, also brings a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from 20 years working within the new homes market. To date Windsor View has created 12 new local jobs, 70 per cent of sub-contract orders are through Northumberland firms and the scheme is already attracting high-levels of interest locally.
Ascent Homes has also acquired a number of key sites for development during 2016 in Blyth, Alnwick, Cramlington and Bebside.
